As an essential part of New Coug Orientation, New Student Enrollment and the New Student Advising Implementation Team are excited to support you in advising our new students!

Online Pathway to Registration Learning Modules

All students will complete required online learning modules intended to prepare them for advising & registration prior to meeting with an academic advisor. Colleges will host in-person resource sessions focused on student success during NCO.

ASCC Advisor Portal

The ASCC Advisor Portal will be used to track and record advising and automate follow-up emails for all students as they are advised during New Coug Orientation.

Early Virtual & Regular In-Person

Advising Appointments

Around 1,600 students will have the option to meet early with an academic advisor virtually before attending NCO, with access to registration help via virtual NCO registration labs. Students given this option may still choose to be advised in-person at NCO.
